Terms of Service

These terms are a binding agreement between you and TrueReviewers.com ("Vera", "we", "us") covering the Vera app, website and APIs.

1. Definitions & acceptance

A Verdict is an AI-generated summary, 0 to 100 score and supporting analysis. An Account is your registered identity. Credits are prepaid standard searches. By using the Service you accept these terms.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 (or older where your country requires it). One Account per person. You can close your Account anytime in Settings. We may suspend or terminate Accounts that breach these terms, abuse the free allowance, or harm the Service.

3. What a Verdict is

Vera reads publicly available owner and expert opinions from across the web, including Reddit, YouTube, Trustpilot, retailer reviews, specialist forums and review sites, and uses AI to synthesize them into a single Verdict: a score, the strongest pros and cons, common failure modes, who it is best for, who should avoid it, and alternatives.

A Verdict reflects the balance of aggregated public sentiment at the moment it is generated. It is not written or fact-checked by human staff, it is not a laboratory test, and it may not match your individual experience. Because the web changes constantly, two searches run at different times can legitimately differ. Verdicts help you decide for yourself; they do not decide for you.

4. Free browsing & account-gated features

Anyone may browse previously generated Verdicts without an Account. A free Account is required to run your own searches, save Verdicts, write reviews, and set Watchers and alerts. New accounts include 5 free standard searches with no expiry; more can be earned by writing genuine reviews, watching an optional rewarded ad (daily cap), or via in-app promotions. Creating multiple Accounts to multiply free searches is not permitted.

5. Pricing & payment

Vera is strictly pay-as-you-go: there is no subscription and no account fee, and you pay only for what you use. Credits and one-off purchases do not expire. Every price is shown in full before you are charged and is inclusive of any applicable EU VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number or banking credentials. On mobile, payment is completed through an external browser session, in line with EU Digital Markets Act requirements.

6. Refunds & EU right of withdrawal

Paid Verdicts, Comparisons and credit top-ups are digital content generated and delivered on demand. By requesting a paid item you expressly ask us to begin delivery immediately and acknowledge that, once delivery has begun, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU Directive 2011/83/EU would otherwise grant for digital content. This does not affect your statutory rights where content is faulty or not as described.

If a paid search fails to produce a result, returns an obviously broken result, or is charged in error due to a fault on our side, we will promptly re-run it or refund that charge, your choice. 7. AI-generated content disclaimer

Verdicts are produced entirely by automated AI systems that summarize third-party opinions; no human reviews them before you see them. As with any AI system, a Verdict may contain errors, omissions or out-of-date information, and it can be influenced by biased, fake or coordinated reviews in its sources. Scores and percentages are estimates of aggregated public sentiment, not measurements of quality or safety, and are not guarantees of any outcome.

A Verdict is general information only. It is not professional, financial, legal, medical or safety advice, and must never be your sole basis for a purchase, health, safety, legal or investment decision. Always verify anything important against the original sources and, where relevant, a qualified professional.

8. Intellectual property & copyright

All rights in the Service, including its software, design, brand, logo and the AI-generated text of Verdicts, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may share or quote reasonable extracts of a Verdict for personal, non-commercial use with attribution to Vera, but you may not resell, republish at scale, or build a competing product from our content without our written permission.

Vera paraphrases publicly available opinions and does not reproduce source reviews verbatim. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact contact@truereviewers.com and we will review it promptly.

9. Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound "where to buy" links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We keep editorial and commercial strictly separate: affiliate relationships never influence a Verdict's score, its pros and cons, or which alternatives it recommends, and we never accept payment to raise a score.

10. Watchers & alert rules

You may add products to your Watchers and create alert rules (for example, "notify me when positive reviews drop below 80%"). Rules are evaluated when a fresh Verdict is generated, by you, any other user, or our twice-daily automatic re-check, and we notify your device (and email, if you opted in) when your condition is met. Alerts are a best-effort convenience, not a guaranteed or real-time monitoring service.

11. Acceptable use

Don't scrape or crawl the Service, resell its content commercially, reverse-engineer it, create multiple Accounts to multiply free searches, submit fake reviews or malicious code, or use it unlawfully. We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate accounts and refer serious abuse to authorities.

12. Availability & changes

We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis and cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, sources, tiers or prices. Where we discontinue a paid feature you have already purchased and not yet received, we will deliver it or refund it. As the Service is in beta, things may change more often than in a finished product.

13. Warranty disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or five euros. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or decisions made in reliance on a Verdict. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania (EU), without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr. Questions: contact@truereviewers.com.
