About Vera

Last updated 2026-06-28 · Vera is in beta

Vera gives you the verdict you'd get from a friend who actually owned it for a year. Not a search engine, not a review site. One query in, one honest answer out.

What we do

Buying anything now means wading through endless tabs, marketing spin and fake five-star noise. Vera reads the real opinions, from Reddit threads and YouTube reviews to retailer ratings, specialist forums and expert sites, and uses AI to synthesize them into a single, honest Verdict: a score, the strongest pros and cons, the one catch buyers regret, who it's for, and what to buy instead. It works for products, places, services, apps, media and vehicles.

How we stay honest

You're the customer, not the product. We run no advertising profiles, we don't track you across the web, and we never sell your data. Some "where to buy" links may earn us a small affiliate commission at no extra cost to you, but affiliate relationships never influence a score or which alternatives we recommend, and we never accept payment to raise a score. Verdicts are AI-generated and meant to inform your decision, not replace your judgment.

How we make money

Simple, pay-as-you-go micro-payments: your first 5 standard searches are free, then a deep verdict is €1.89, with no subscription and no account fee. That, plus the occasional affiliate commission, keeps browsing free for everyone. See pricing.

Privacy first

Most of what you do stays on your device. We collect as little as possible and keep it in the EU where we can. Read the Privacy Policy.
