Cookie & Tracking Policy

Short version: this website sets no cookies and uses no ad or analytics SDKs and no cross-site tracking. The only advertising anywhere in Vera is an optional rewarded ad in the Android app that you can choose to watch to earn a free search (served by Google AdMob, no banner ads, no ad profiling).

This website

The vera.truereviewers.com site is static and does not set cookies or use trackers. The only thing it stores in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, kept locally so the site remembers it. There is nothing to consent to here.

The app

The Vera app stores your preferences and history on your device (standard app storage and a secure key store), not in browser cookies. Our usage analytics are entirely first-party, kept on our own EU servers, and keyed only to a random device identifier (and a hashed email when you are signed in). We use them solely to understand and improve the app, never to build advertising profiles, and never sold or shared.

Optional rewarded ads (Android app)

If you choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn a free search, it is served by Google AdMob. This is the only advertising in Vera and it is always opt-in: there are no banner or automatic ads, and we do not build ad profiles. Google may process limited data to serve the ad under its own policies.

Aggregate counters

We keep anonymous aggregate counters (for example, how often a product is searched) that cannot be linked to any individual.
